Patrice Evra: Former France star opens up about sexual abuse
Former Arsenal, Lazio and PSG midfielder is now a football player, after retiring from football in 2014.
“I have done five to six films with children, that is my passion. I am a football player, I have been a footballer.
“It is hard to explain, but I have the desire to do something else. I was playing with three teams, but when I stopped playing football a lot of things changed.
“I am still a footballer, so I am taking my time, but I have not found the right team to continue, it has not been a good experience.
“I don’t have money, not even the right kind of clothes, and I have not got any friends anymore.
“I feel guilty. I want to continue to show my love for the game, football is the only thing that I miss.
“It is like having a pain somewhere inside of me, inside of my body, I can’t explain it, but I just know that it hurts.
“I went through a bad period and I do miss it. I have been feeling guilty but now, I am the football player and it is all about enjoying the game.”
